NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Despite a milestone performance from Saroiya Ajomale, the College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team fell 76–47 to Eastern Arizona College on Saturday afternoon in ACCAC action at the Coyote Event Center.
Eastern Arizona, which entered the game unbeaten in conference play, used a strong second and third quarter to pull away. After CSN trailed 35–18 at halftime, the Gila Monsters outscored the Lady Coyotes 31–9 in the third quarter to create separation before CSN closed the game with its most productive offensive stretch in the fourth.
Ajomale delivered a historic performance for the Lady Coyotes, scoring 19 points with four rebounds and two steals. Entering the contest nine points shy of 1,000 career points, Ajomale surpassed the milestone during the game, becoming the first player in CSN Lady Coyote women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points.
CSN received additional contributions throughout the lineup, as Mya Harper added 11 points off the bench, while Satsuki Bradley finished with seven points. Trista Mabry contributed four points, seven rebounds, and four steals, providing energy on both ends of the floor.
Eastern Arizona was led by Esmeralda Enriquez, who scored 17 points, while Eanae Dagons added 13 points and Danaeja Romero-Ah Sam chipped in 12. The Gila Monsters shot 40.3 percent from the field and capitalized on 20 CSN turnovers, converting them into 28 points.
CSN closed the afternoon with a strong fourth quarter, outscoring Eastern Arizona 20–10, highlighted by continued aggressiveness from Ajomale as she pushed past the career milestone late in the contest.
