HENDERSON, Nev. — April 10, 2026 — The College of Southern Nevada opened its four-game ACCAC series with a commanding 9–1 victory over Central Arizona College on Friday afternoon at Lady Coyote Field.
The Lady Coyotes controlled the game from the outset, combining timely hitting with a dominant performance in the circle from Brooklynn Richardson.
CSN struck first in the bottom of the first inning. Jaydah Chun singled and advanced into scoring position before Ellie Leatham lifted a sacrifice fly to center field to bring Chun home for a 1–0 lead.
The Coyotes added to the advantage in the second inning when Miken Jacobsen launched a solo home run to center field, extending the lead to 2–0.
Central Arizona got on the board in the fourth inning with a solo home run from LuLu Erkal, cutting the deficit to 2–1, but that would be the only run the Vaqueros would score.

Mariela Rodriguez followed with an RBI single, and after a sacrifice bunt from Reggi Frei, Jaydah Chun added an RBI single. Chloe Tepraseuth capped the inning with a two-run home run to push the Lady Coyotes' lead to 7–1.
The Coyotes added insurance in the sixth inning. Breya Hee singled and moved into scoring position before Tepraseuth delivered her second home run of the game, a two-run shot to center field that extended the lead to 9–1.
CSN finished with 14 hits in the contest. Tepraseuth led the offense with three hits, including two home runs, and drove in four runs. Jacobsen added a home run and a triple, finishing with three hits and two RBIs. Chun recorded two hits and an RBI, while Hee, Mauzey, Rodriguez, Destinee Lopez, and Frei each contributed hits in the balanced offensive effort.
In the circle, Brooklynn Richardson was outstanding, earning the complete-game victory. Richardson allowed just one run on seven hits over six innings while striking out four and issuing no walks.
With the win, the Lady Coyotes improve to 23–14 overall and 12–5 in ACCAC play.
