The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is proud to introduce Kantessa Bryant-Miller, known as Coach K, as the fourth head coach in the history of the Coyotes Women’s Volleyball program. With a wealth of playing and coaching experience, Coach K is poised to lead the program into an exciting new era.
Coach K brings over 12 years of competitive playing experience and nearly five years of coaching expertise to CSN. She currently serves as the lead scout for Prepdig Nevada and as head coach of the 16U team at Underrated Volleyball in North Las Vegas. Her recent coaching accomplishments include leading her 14U team to a first-place finish at the prestigious “In It To Win It” tournament in Las Vegas, along with two second-place finishes in other highly competitive events.
Prior to her time in Nevada, Coach K coached with Skyline Juniors in Texas, where she guided a talented 11U team to multiple top-three finishes in regional tournaments. Her coaching style emphasizes skill development, mental resilience, and overall athlete growth, fostering a positive and competitive environment for players.
A graduate of Mississippi Valley State University, Coach K had an exceptional collegiate career as a two-time Preseason SWAC Player of the Year. In 2008, she led the nation in service aces, highlighting her impact as a standout player. Her achievements as an athlete are matched by her dedication to developing the next generation of volleyball talent.
Coach K’s vision for the CSN Volleyball program centers on building a winning culture grounded in discipline, hard work, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the court. Her extensive network in the Las Vegas metro and Reno areas positions her to recruit and attract top talent to the program.
