Coyotes defeats Snow College after late game error, 6-4

Coyotes took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against Snow College, securing a 6-4 victory on Saturday at Ephraim, UT.

Coyotes pulled out the win thanks to a strong ninth inning. An error scoredMia Acuna and gave Coyotes the lead for good.

Coyotes held off Snow College, as Snow College was unable to overcome a four-run ninth inning deficit.

Snow College scored two runs in the ninth on two sacrifice flys. Despite its efforts, Snow College couldn't get over the hump.

Megan Mello, Dacia Sykes and Vanessa Sanders helped lead Coyotes. They combined for eight hits and four RBIs.

Coyotes jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. A single by Sanders, scoring Maggie Manwarren started the inning off.
