Coyotes are on the road for a SWAC series against Salt Lake Community College

Las Vegas, NV- This upcoming weekend the College of Southern Nevada Coyotes travel to Salt Lake City, UT for a road series against Salt Lake Community College Bruins. The Coyotes have a conference record of 2-2 thus far, with an overall record of 17-7. CSN's baseball team has been hot as of late, winning 14 of their last 16, and also currently holding a 12 game win streak at home. The Bruins are 1-2 in league games, with a 14-9 season record, and losing 3 out of 4 games last weekend against Western Nevada College.

The Coyotes pitching staff will look to continue their early season success this weekend, led by ace Phil Bickford, who has a 2:1 ratio of strikeouts to innings pitched this season. The pitching rotation for this upcoming series has Gabe Gonzalez throwing game 1, Phil Bickford starting game 2, Aj Jones pitching game 3 and Anthony Martine taking the hill for game 4. CSN's second baseman/shortstop, Tyler Brown, will look to further his most recent success at the plate, where he batted .414, with 6 runs, 7 RBIs and 4 steals over the past two series'. The first game of the series is scheduled for Friday, March 13
th, with a start time of 5:00 pm.Â
