Las Vegas, NV – The College of Southern Nevada Athletics Department is proud to announce the appointment of Nick Aiello as the new head coach of the Coyotes baseball program.
Aiello brings extensive experience as a player, recruiter, and coach at the junior college level to CSN. A Las Vegas native, he previously served as an assistant coach with the Coyotes during the 2010-2011 season. Most recently, he spent over 15 seasons as an assistant coach and pitching coach at the College of Southern Idaho (CSI), where he helped develop numerous successful pitchers and contributed to a competitive NJCAA program.
"I am incredibly excited and honored to return to CSN as the head coach," said Aiello. "CSN holds a special place in my heart from my time here as an assistant, and I'm eager to build on the strong foundation of the program. Our goal is to develop student-athletes who compete at the highest level both on the field and in the classroom, while continuing the tradition of sending talented players to four-year programs and professional baseball."
Aiello played collegiately, including a stint with the Golden Eagles at CSI in 1999, and has a deep understanding of the demands of junior college baseball in the ultra competitive Arizona Community College Athletic Conference. Known for his player development expertise—particularly with pitchers—his return to Southern Nevada positions him well to recruit locally and nationally while maintaining the program's reputation for excellence.
CSN Athletic Director

The Coyotes baseball program has a storied history of competitive success, multiple conference titles, and producing professional talent. Aiello will begin his tenure immediately, focusing on summer recruiting, player development, and preparations for the upcoming season.
