Henderson, NV- If you looking for some excitement this weekend Russell Road Recreational Complex Field 1 will be the spot to be at! The #2 College of Southern Nevada Coyotes softball team look to square off against, #4 Salt Lake Community College Bruins this weekend in a four game series! It is going to be a thriller, this might be the series of the week. The Coyotes are one win ahead of the Bruins in their conference.
The Coyotes are not only looking forward to improve their win streak but also their ranking. The ladies are 8-0 at home with a 16-3 overall record so far this season. The Bruins are 6-0 on the road with 17-3 overall record.
The ladies are also ranked number 4 in the nation in batting. That's an advantage the Coyotes have over the Bruins this upcoming weekend.
Coach Perreira mention in order for his team to be successful this weekend, they have to stop the short game and speed, but also being consistent and focus throughout the entire series.
The Coyotes know the target on the back has gotten larger since obtaining the # 2 rank, and with that being said the ladies are focused more than ever!
This will be the first of two meetings between the Coyotes and the Bruins this season. The first two games will be on Friday, 1 pm and 3 pm at Russell Road Recreational complex, and on Saturday the Coyotes and Bruins will return to Russell Road Recreational Complex to play their 3
rd and 4
th game at noon and 2 pm. Â Make sure to be their early, seats won't be guaranteed with a matchup like this!
