Las Vegas, NV- The Coyotes are back at home this week looking to improve upon their 12 game home win streak. They will be taking on the College of Southern Idaho, who are also on a hot streak winning 7 out of their last 8 games. CSN has been playing significantly better at home, with a 12-2 record, compared to their road record of 5-7. CSI Golden Eagles haven't played particularly well on the road, posting a 1-4 record thus far. The two teams faced off earlier in the season during the SWAC Round Robin Tournament, hosted by CSN. The Coyotes used the ace of their staff, Phil Bickford, to defeat the Golden Eagles 2-0. The College of Southern Nevada will need the entire pitching staff's best efforts to expand their home winning streak.
Â
The return of the starting shortstop, Cain Brady, to the Coyotes lineup added a much need offensive boost last series. But it wasn't enough to push them over the top to win more than two of the four games played last weekend. Cain Brady and the other Coyote's hitters will attempt to jump out to an early lead in game #1 of the 4 game series this Thursday, with the first pitch taking place at 7:00 pm.Â
