Henderson ,NV- The College of Southern Nevada Coyotes Softball team hits the road this weekend to take on the number 7 rank College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles at their house in a four game series, in what will be their second SWAC road series of their season.

The College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles are the two time Scenic West Athletic Conference champions. So far for this season the Golden Eagles are 9-2 in the conference with an overall record of 21-8. They are 6-0 at home and 9-6 on the road. Out of the 29 games the Golden Eagles have played they have delivered 211 runs, with a batting average of .354 and a slugging average of .560 while also racking up 35 home runs.

This will be another competitive series for the College of Southern Nevada softball team.

The Coyotes are looking to redeem themselves after a tough past weekend at home against the now number 2 rank Salt Lake Community College Bruins. The Bruins took 3 out 4 games leaving the Coyotes with 1. The Golden Eagles have the similar playing style as the Bruins, in order for the Coyotes to be successful this weekend they will have to be aware of the Golden Eagles speed and play consistent defense.

Coach Perriera is confident that his team has the ability to not only come out on top this weekend but to also be one of the best teams in the nation.
