Phil Bickford pitched six shutout innings to lift Coyotes to a 5-0 win over Salt Lake Community College Bruins in seven innings.

Jose Verdugo racked up three RBIs on three hits for Coyotes. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Chris Bradford took the loss for Salt Lake Community College Bruins . He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

Coyotes stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring two runs on a two-run double by Verdugo.

Coyotes increased its lead with three runs in the fifth. A bases loaded walk scored Tyler Brown to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up byMatt Waldren's single, bringing home Kenny Meimerstorf.
