Coyote BeatBy Obed MirekuLas Vegas, NV- For a second straight weekend the College of Southern Nevada Coyotes softball team will face a top ten ranked team. This weekend the Lady Coyotes will be playing  host to the number five ranked College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles softball team.
This should be an interesting matchup, the last time these two teams squared off against each other the Golden Eagles swept the Coyotes. This time around the Lady Coyotes will be looking to exact revenge on their conference rivals.
However, the CSN Coyotes will have their work cut out for them. As of now the Golden Eagles are 25-6 in the SWAC (Scenic Western Athletic Conference) with an overall record of 39-12.On the road this season the CSI Golden Eagles have posted an 13-6 record, not to mention they are also ranked number one in the country for the most home runs.
CSI softball team has recorded seventy two home runs so far this season, with forty eight of them against their conference opponents. Talk about a powerhouse offense.
In order to see any success this weekend the Lady Coyotes will have to play both superb offense and defense. They will also need big to make big plays and take advantage of every opportunity presented to them.
