Coyotes survive College of Southern Idaho rally, escape with 6-4 victory

College of Southern Idaho was never able to get over the hump and get over its troubles against the Coyotes on Thursday, as College of Southern Idaho fell 6-4 at Morse Stadium after falling behind by four runs in the sixth inning.

Southern Idaho scored on an RBI single by Cameron Coombs in the seventh inning and a solo home run by Bodie Cooper in the eighth inning. Still, College of Southern Idaho couldn't draw even.

Cain Brady racked up two RBIs on two hits for Coyotes. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Phil Bickford kept contact to a minimum, striking out 13 College of Southern Idaho batters. Bickford allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over six innings.

Zack Draper ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 5 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
