Box Score Coyotes jumped out to an early lead on Colorado Northwestern CC and captured a 9-0 victory on Thursday.
The game was decided quickly as Coyotes exerted its will early with six runs in the first three innings.
An RBI single by Vanessa Sanders and a sacrifice fly by Kristina Nelsonduring the first inning and an RBI single by Sarina Creswell, a fielder's choice, and a two-run home run by Dacia Sykes in the second inning helped Coyotes put some runs on the board early.Sykes went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for Coyotes.
Coyotes' Nelson kept Colorado Northwestern CC off the scoreboard for all five innings she was on the rubber. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up five.
