After a hard fought 2-0 shutout of Mount San Antonio College on the road in Walnut, California the Lady Coyotes returned home to host the University of Utah Club for a pair of matches this past weekend in the team's final test before the meat of its Scenic West Athletic Conference schedule begins to take shape.

Amanda Carducci just 1:07 into the match.
Brianna Duran found the back of the net in the 10
th and 23
rd minutes ,courtesy of helpers from Sara Marie Covarrubi and

After dismantling UUC Saturday afternoon the Lady Coyotes looked to finish the fight Sunday morning and in the process secure its best start in the program's three years of existence.
The first half began as a defensive chess match with neither able to breakthrough until a costly mishandling of the ball in front of its own net cost UUC an own goal.
The score remained 1-0 Southern Nevada as both teams headed into the locker room for halftime. The second half had a sluggish feel to begin the match, however
Ashlee Jordan brought the crowd to life when she turned a perfect feed off the boot of
Olivia Meza into the Lady Coyotes second goal of the morning.
Dona Acierto put the match to bed in the 77
th minute when she beat the UUC keeper for the third time in the match thanks to another dime off the foot of
Olivia Meza.
CSN held on for the 3-0 shutout victory over UUC, improving to 6-1-1 and 4-0 at home in 2018.
