HENDERSON, Nev. (October 17, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada men's soccer team earned a rousing win in their homecoming match Thursday.
Facing off against Colorado Northwestern Community College, the Coyotes earned a 6-0 win to boost them to 8-5-3 overall. CSN remains in contention for a Region 18 championships berth with a mark of 3-3-3 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.
Ricardo Galvan stole the day for the Coyotes as he scored 3 goals in the match. First, Galvan scored a goal in the 24
th minute to give CSN a 1-0 lead, followed up by a goal in the 33
rd minute. Eduardo Quintero Ro earned a goal to give CSN a 3-0 halftime lead.
Jesus Gonzalez opened the scoring early in the second half, while
Bryan Montoya upped the CSN lead to 5-0 in the 63
rd minute. Galvan's final goal came in the 82

Ivan Rodriguez preserved the shutout win, making a save. Southern Nevada held a 23-1 advantage in shots-on-goal, finishing with a 34-1 advantage overall.
The Coyotes will host USU Eastern on Saturday in their home finale at Heritage Park. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. and will feature the team's annual 'Sophomore Day' festivities.
