HENDERSON, Nev. (October 17, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada volleyball program will have the opportunity to experience rebirth this week.
The reason for that regenerative feeling is the second part of the Scenic West Athletic Conference season is beginning, meaning the Lady Coyotes have a chance to regroup after a tough 0-5 start to the league season. As CSN prepares to travel to play at No. 6 Snow College on Saturday, the want for improvement is first-and-foremost on the minds of the team.
Snow College will certainly be a tough opponent to jumpstart a season that is looking for an upward trend. The highest-ranked team in the Scenic West, the Badgers are 24-2 and a perfect 5-0 in league play. Snow is currently on a 13-match winning streak and is coming off a 3-0 win over nationally-ranked USU Eastern.
Saturday's match at Snow College is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start. The Lady Coyotes will travel to play Salt Lake Community College and the College of Southern Idaho the following weekend.
