TWIN FALLS, ID (October 26, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada volleyball team struggled in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match Saturday with the defending champs.
The Lady Coyotes were downed 3-0 by the College of Southern Idaho, falling by set-scores of 13-25, 18-25, 20-25. The losses drop CSN's overall record to 4-18 overall and 0-8 in Scenic West play.
Errors undid CSN throughout the match as 22 errors held the team's hitting percentage to just .072. Southern Nevada's defense also struggled against the CSI attack, with Southern Idaho finishing with 40 kills to just 12 errors.
Olivia Curtis led Southern Nevada with 10 kills and 16 digs, while
Riley Froman finished with 8 kills.
Laityn Sarna had a team-high 19 assists.
Southern Nevada will close the season this week with a pair of matches inside the CSN Sports Center. First, the Lady Coyotes will host Colorado Northwestern on Thursday, followed up by playing USU Eastern on Saturday.
