HENDERSON, Nev. (October 31, 2019) – A long regular season has ended, and the postseason has arrived for the College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team.
The Lady Coyotes finished the regular season on a three-match winning streak and will take that momentum into a match with nationally-ranked Snow College in Friday's Region 18 semifinal. CSN and Snow are scheduled to play at 1:00 p.m. in the first semifinal of the day on the women's side of the draw, with the winner scheduled to face the winner of a match between Salt Lake and USU Eastern later that day.

Geoff Hawkins said he is excited for the opportunity his team has.
"We will be facing two Top-10 opponents in this tournament, which will be nothing new for us," he said. "We have a few surprises planned for the opposing teams. We will be paying close attention on set pieces."
Southern Nevada finished the regular season on a 5-1 tear, with the only blemish being a 2-1 loss to Salt Lake. The Lady Coyotes earned a 1-0 victory over Snow College in the process, marking the program's biggest win over a nationally-ranked program. CSN's mark against the Lady Badgers are two of the lone blemish's on Snow's mark, as Snow finished 6-2-2 in league play.
Salt Lake Community College is the tournament's top seed thanks to an 8-0-2 record in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. The Bruins will play No. 4 USU Eastern in the opening round of the tournament, with the winner advancing to play the CSN-Snow winner on Saturday in the championships.
Southern Nevada's match with Snow will start at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Zions Bank Stadium. The team will advance to play Saturday with a victory in the semifinal on Friday.
