HENDERSON, Nev. (September 14, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada fell in a Saturday volleyball match to #2 (D-II)Parkland College, finishing the weekend 0-3 in a home-hosted tournament.
The Lady Coyotes fell to Parkland, 3-1, falling 15-25, 25-21, 17-25, 10-25. The loss drops CSN's overall record to 4-10.
After falling in a first set, CSN fought back to earn the second-set victory before falling in the third and fourth sets. Southern Nevada finished with 38 kills and had 6 aces in the match. CSN's
Olivia Curtis led the team with 13 kills and
Taurie Magee had 11 kills.
Southern Nevada will have a break until September 28 when they host Snow College in the Scenic West Athletic Conference opener. CSN will host three matches to open SWAC play.
