HENDERSON, Nev. (September 19, 2019) – A battle for NJCAA men's soccer bragging rights in the Silver State ended in a 0-0 draw.
The first-ever matchup between the College of Southern Nevada and Truckee Meadows Community College ended in a 0-0 tie between the two schools, capping a back-and-forth 90 minutes of soccer. The tie leaves Southern Nevada's overall record at 5-3-1 and 0-1-1 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

Ivan Rodriguez was a star for the Coyotes on the day, making a trio of saves to preserve the shutout. Southern Nevada held an offensive edge with a 17-6 lead in shots, taking 10 shots alone in the second period.
The Coyotes will host No. 4 Salt Lake Community College in a league match at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Heritage Park. SLCC earned a 2-1 win over No. 18 Snow College in a Scenic West match Thursday.
