Box Score CRAIG, CO. (September 28, 2019) – Victory found its way to the College of Southern Nevada men's soccer team in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road match on Saturday.
CSN captured a 5-0 win over Colorado Northwestern Community College, breaking a five-match winless streak. Southern Nevada's overall record is now 6-4-2, with a mark of 1-2-2 in Scenic West play.
Southern Nevada took charge early, with
Edgar Donate getting the team on the board with a goal in the 29
thminute.
Alfredo Diaz scored his first of two goals in the 37
thminute to give CSN a 2-0 lead going into halftime. Diaz's final goal stretched the lead to the 80
thminute.
Offensively, CSN finished with 14 shots.
Sebastian St. Jules made 3 saves in the match, keeping CNCC scoreless.
The Coyotes will travel to play at Snow College on Saturday, followed by an additional weekend of road trips to play Salt Lake Community College and Truckee Meadows Community College. CSN's next home match is scheduled for October 17.
