HENDERSON, Nev. (December 4, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball earned a dominant victory Saturday, rolling to a home win in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSN earned a 102-66 win over Colorado Northwestern Community College, leading early and never looking back in the win at Democracy Prep. Southern Nevada is now 2-0 in Scenic West play with the win, sitting with an overall record of 6-4.
The Coyotes controlled from the beginning, taking a 50-23 halftime lead after limiting CNCC to just 24 percent shooting (6-of-25) in the opening half. Conversely, Southern Nevada was a sizzling 51.4 percent from the field (18-of-35). CSN's defense forced 20 CNCC turnovers in the win.
Dominique Ford continued a recent run of offensive success, scoring 28 points while going 12-of-14 at the free-throw line.
Darren Jones scored 17 points and had 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Southern Nevada will host No. 1 Salt Lake Community College on Wednesday in a Scenic West game. The game will be played at Democracy Prep.
