TWIN Falls, ID (February 11, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team narrowly lost in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road game Thursday.
The Coyotes, playing in their second game of the season, lost a close 67-63 decision to the College of Southern Idaho. The loss dropped CSN to 0-2 overall and in SWAC play.
Southern Nevada trailed by double-digits at halftime, 35-22, but put on a furious rally in the second half to cut the deficit to 65-63 with :30 left after back-to-back three-point shots by
Jordan Cineus. CSN played strong defense throughout the game, holding the Golden Eagles to a 1-of-27 performance at the three-point line and just 33.3 percent shooting overall (24-of-72).
Dominique Ford led CSN with 20 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting performance from three-point range.
Larry Holmes scored 14 points, while
Jordan Cineus finished with 9 points for Southern Nevada.
Southern Nevada will close the three-game road trip on Saturday at Salt Lake.
