RANGELY, CO (February 27, 2021) – The first victory of the season took place for the College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team Saturday.
 
CSN played to its first win of the 2021 season, downing Colorado Northwestern Community College by a score of 76-69. The win boosts CSN to 1-3 overall and in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
 
The season's first win didn't come easy for the Coyotes, especially with Colorado Northwestern taking a 36-30 halftime lead. However, CSN chipped away at the CNCC advantage, eventually taking the lead on a Jordan Cineus score with 13:51 remaining in the second half.
 
Dominique Ford led all scorers in the game, finishing with 19 points. Jairus Dickson posted 17 points, while Larry Holmes and Nick Attanasio both scored 12 points apiece. 
 
Southern Nevada will play Colorado Northwestern again Sunday, playing in a matinee game.
