PRICE, UT. (March 12, 2021) - The College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team was unable to hang on to a halftime lead in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road game Thursday, falling late to USU Eastern.

The Coyotes dropped a 68-58 decision, losing after holding a 30-22 halftime lead. The loss drops Southern Nevada to 2-7 overall and in league play.

After holding the halftime lead, CSN struggled in the second half, getting outscored 46-28 while  shooting just 31 percent from the floor in the half. On the other side, USU Eastern shot 55 percent in the second half, along with establishing a punishing defensive attack that forced 18 CSN turnovers.

Dominique Ford led all scorers in the game with 22 points for Southern Nevada, while
John Jenkins Jr. scored 11 points. Other notable scorers included
Larry Holmes, who finished with 7 points.

Southern Nevada will close a three-game road trip on Saturday at Salt Lake Community College.Â
