HENDERSON, Nev. (March 4, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team lost in a Scenic West Athletic Conference home game Wednesday.
The Lady Coyotes, playing their home opener at the CSN Sports Center, lost an 83-56 decision to the College of Southern Idaho. CSN is now 0-6 overall and in league play after the losses.
CSN took an early 14-13 lead after the first quarter, showing good signs in their home debut while holding Southern Idaho to 4-of-18 shooting. However, Southern Idaho went on a 22-8 run in the second quarter to take control of the game.
Gisselle Gonazles finished with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting to lead CSN, while
Sharmayne Finely posted 15 points.
Lauryn Calo had 6 points.
Southern Nevada will host Salt Lake Community College on Saturday.
