HENDERSON, Nev. (March 6, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team lost in a Scenic West Athletic Conference home game on Saturday.
The Lady Coyotes fell in a 58-37 decision to defending SWAC champion Salt Lake Community College on Saturday, falling to 0-2 against the Bruins this season. CSN falls to 0-7 with the loss.
CSN fell behind early, 14-2, before cutting the deficit at halftime to 27-16. However, Salt Lake shot 60 percent (9-of-15) from the field in the third quarter to put the SLCC lead out of reach.
Sharmayne Finely finished with 17 points to lead Southern Nevada.
Tyra Perkins posted 6 points.
Southern Nevada will be on the road next week, playing at Southern Idaho and USU Eastern.
