HENDERSON, Nev. (April 3, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada men's soccer program had a non-conference loss to a Scenic West Athletic Conference foe Saturday.
The Coyotes dropped a 2-1 decision to Snow College at Heritage Field on Saturday, falling to 0-2 in non-conference play. CSN will begin Scenic West play next Thursday against in-state rival Truckee Meadows.
Snow jumped out to an early lead, scoring a goal early in the first period to take a 1-0 halftime lead. Mihreteab Tesfamaria tied the match at 1-1, scoring a goal in the 71
st minute on an
Alfredo Diaz assist. The Badgers scored a golden-goal in overtime to earn the victory.
Tesfamaria had a team-high five shots, with three shots being on-goal.
Southern Nevada will host a pair of Scenic West matches next week, playing against Truckee Meadows and No. 5 Salt Lake.
