NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (January 15, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team lost a Scenic West Athletic Conference home game Saturday.
CSN fell in a tight game with USU Eastern, losing an 81-76 decision with the Eagles inside the CSN Sports Center. The Coyotes are now 9-11 overall and 3-5 in Scenic West play.
In a game that featured eight lead changes and eight ties, both teams were knotted at 29-29 at halftime. USU Eastern took the lead in the second half and stretched the lead to as many as eight points late in the second half, claiming the victory late. The Eagles shot 56.7 percent in the second half to boost themselves to victory. CSN made just 6-of-23 three-point attempts.
Darren Jones had another standout performance for the Coyotes, finishing with 23 points and 17 rebounds.
Dominique Ford scored 22 points, while
Terrance Marigney posted 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting.
Southern Nevada will host No. 1 Salt Lake Community College on Wednesday.
