NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (January 19, 2022) – A Scenic West Athletic Conference home game against a league contender ended in a loss for the College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team Wednesday.
CSN fell in a 64-58 decision to the No. 23 Salt Lake Community College Bruins, surrendering a 30-25 halftime lead. The Lady Coyotes are now 6-13 overall and 3-6 in Scenic West play with the loss.
Southern Nevada's defense made an impact throughout the first half, limiting SLCC to just 29.4 percent shooting (10-of-34). SLCC also went just 1-of-9 from three-point range due to CSN's stifling defense.

Sharmayne Finley led the Lady Coyotes with 22 points, while
Destiny Brown posted a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
