HENDERSON, Nev. (November 19, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team started slow in a preseason tournament game Saturday, never recovering in a non-conference loss.
 
CSN dropped a 60-54 decision to Eastern Arizona in the final game of the 'Coyote Classic', going 1-2 in the preseason home tournament. The Lady Coyotes are now 2-2.
 
Eastern Arizona jumped out to a 20-7 lead after the first quarter, taking control it would never relinquish as it led by as many as 17 points early in the fourth quarter. CSN struggled offensively in the game, shooting just 33.3 percent and finishing with 18 turnovers.
 
Quianna Brown led Southern Nevada with 15 points, while Aaliyah Ibarra posted 14 points. CSN had just 12 bench points in the game.
 
Southern Nevada will return to the court on December 2, opening Scenic West Athletic Conference play with Snow College.
