HENDERSON, Nev. (February 12, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team fell in a Scenic West Athletic Conference game on Saturday.
CSN dropped an 82-58 decision at USU Eastern, falling to 1-1 in a week that saw travel from Southern California to central Utah. The Coyotes are now 13-15 overall and 7-9 in Scenic West play with the loss, sitting at fifth place in the SWAC standings.
Southern Nevada played well in the first half, posting a 32-30 halftime lead after limiting the Eagles to just 38.7 percent shooting in the half (12-of-31). Turnovers cost the Coyotes greatly in the second half, with USU Eastern eventually scoring 23 points on CSN's 17 turnovers.
Nick Attanasio posted 17 points to lead CSN in the loss, while
John Jenkins finished with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
Terrance Marigney had 6 points.
Southern Nevada will close the regular season next week with a pair of home games, hosting Snow College and Southern Idaho.
