HENDERSON, Nev. (February 17, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team surrendered a halftime lead and lost a Scenic West Athletic Conference home game to a nationally-ranked opponent Thursday.

CSN dropped a 88-82 decision to No. 14 Snow, falling to 0-3 against the Badgers this season. Southern Nevada is now 12-17 overall and 6-11 in Scenic West play with the loss.

The Coyotes opened the game in dominating fashion, taking a double=digit lead at halftime – 45-35 – after limiting Snow to just 37.8 percent shooting in the first half. On the other side, CSN shot 57.6 percent from the field in the first half (19-of-33), leading by as many as 26 points. Unfortunately, the Badgers came clawing back through the second half and outscored CSN 53-37 in the second half to earn the victory. CSN held its last lead, 75-74, with just 2:51 left after a Nick Walters basket.

Dominique Ford led the Coyotes with 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting, while both Darren Jones and Nick Attanasio posted 16 points each. John Jenkins scored 11 points.

The Coyotes will play host to 'Sophomore Day' festivities on Saturday, when they will honor players like Terrance Marigney, Keyshawn Celestino-Clyde, and Tucker Peterson. CSN will host Southern Idaho, with a scheduled tipoff of 3:00 p.m. at Democracy Prep.
