HENDERSON, Nev. (January 18, 2023) – Another weekend road trip opened with a strong win for the College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team.
CSN posted a 115-85 win over Colorado Northwestern, earning a win in the first game of a back-to-back with the Spartans. Southern Nevada is now 9-11 overall and 3-5 in Scenic West play.
The Coyotes were crisp offensively throughout the game, taking a 69-41 halftime lead after shooting 64.8 percent from the field. Southern Nevada led by as many as 36 points in the game, never trailing after the opening minutes.
Ray Daniels posted 29 points to lead CSN, going 12-of-15 from the field. Both
Max Topham and
Kendrick Gilbert each scored 14 points, while
Darren Jones had 12 points.
Kasen Boggs scored 10 points off the bench on 4-of-5 shooting.
CSN will play the Spartans again Thursday. Southern Nevada will close the weekend at USU Eastern on Saturday.
