HENDERSON, Nev. (January 19, 2023) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team picked up a road victory over Colorado Northwestern Community College for the second consecutive night.
CSN picked up a 85-59 win over the Spartans, moving to 2-0 on the season over CNCC. Southern Nevada is now 10-11 overall and 4-5 in Scenic West games after the win, moving to 3-1 on their long string of road games.
For the second straight evening, CSN jumped on Colorado Northwestern early and never looked back, taking a 47-30 lead into halftime. The Coyotes scored 50 points in the pain, part of an offensive rhythm that saw them lead by as many as 26 points in the second half.
Darren Jones led CSN with 23 points, while
Amaris Quenum-Stewart had 15 points.
Ray Daniels scored 12 points off the bench, with
Anthony Swift going 5-of-7 from the field to score 11 points.
Southern Nevada will travel to play at USU Eastern on Saturday.
