HENDERSON, Nev. (January 18, 2023) – The start of another three-game road trip didn't go well for the College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team.
 
Opening a back-to-back at Colorado Northwestern, CSN posted a 68-59 loss to the Lady Spartans, trailing early and never recovering. The loss drops Southern Nevada to 7-10 overall and 2-6 in Scenic West games.
 
A quick start by CNCC helped the Lady Spartans build a lead they held onto for most of the game. Southern Nevada trailed at halftime, 31-28, and struggled to regain momentum in the second half. 
 
CSN shot just 37 percent for the game, going 2-of-18 from three-point range. Jordyn Stroud led Southern Nevada with 22 points and 16 rebounds, while Aaliyah Ibarra posted 14 points. Paige Grant had 8 points and 10 rebounds. 
 
The Lady Coyotes will play CNCC again on Thursday, tipping off at 5:00 p.m.
