HENDERSON, Nev. (February 11, 2023) – Momentum is pushing the College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team forward with ease these days.
CSN posted a win over Colorado Northwestern, claiming the season series with CNCC after a 90-70 victory. The Coyotes are now 13-13 overall and 7-7 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Defense played a large role in Southern Nevada's success, with the Coyotes forcing 22 Colorado Northwestern turnovers. CSN also limited CNCC to just 40.3 percent shooting (25-of-62) and only 8-of-24 from three-point range. The Coyotes led by as many as 24 points late in the second half.
Anthony Swift had a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead CSN, while
Ray Daniels had 19 points.
Max Topham posted 18 points and
John Jenkins had 12 points.
Darren Jones finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Southern Nevada will take to the road next week, playing games at Salt Lake and Southern Idaho.
