HENDERSON, Nev. (February 11, 2023) – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team continued its late season flurry of winning Saturday, moving to a Scenic West Athletic Conference home win.
CSN moved to an 83-47 win over Colorado Northwestern to finish the year at 3-0 over the Spartans. The victory lifts the Coyotes to 11-13 overall and 5-9 in Scenic West play.
Southern Nevada jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, holding a 35-24 lead at halftime. CSN defended at an elite level throughout the game, holding CNCC to just 22.1 percent shooting and only 2-of-33 from three-point range in the game.
Jordyn Stroud led the Lady Coyotes with 26 points, while
Paige Grant finished with 19 points.
Aaliyah Ibarra posted 14 points. Stroud and Grant both posted double-doubles. CSN posted 26 bench points in the win.
CSN will take to the road next week, playing road games at Salt Lake and Southern Idaho. The Lady Coyotes will play their final home game on Feb. 22 against USU Eastern.
