North Las Vegas, Nev. — October 11, 2025- The College of Southern Nevada Men's Soccer team battled wire-to-wire with Eastern Arizona College on Saturday at the Cheyenne Sports Complex, taking a late second-half lead before the Gila Monsters equalized in the final minutes to finish level, 1–1, in ACCAC play. The result moves CSN to 5–5–1 overall and 1–5–1 in ACCAC action.
After a measured opening 45 minutes with chances at both ends, CSN broke through in the 68th minute.
Matias Martinez pounced in the box to slot home for the Coyotes, finishing a crisp setup from
Julian Garcia to make it 1–0.
Eastern Arizona pressed late and found the equalizer at 89:04, with Samuel Prado converting off a feed from Davi Barros to close out the scoring.

Aldair Castelo delivered a standout performance, recording nine saves as CSN absorbed pressure down the stretch.

Sean Escamilla, and company—cleared repeated set-piece threats, with EAC finishing the day with a 6–2 edge in corner kicks.
Physical play marked the final half-hour: yellow cards were issued to both sides, including bookings to
Francisco Duran-Andrade (75:30) and
Alejandro Marquez (84:01) for CSN, while Eastern Arizona saw cautions to Izan Llinas (63:30), Ability Hazel (80:46), and Davi Barros (84:17).

Alan Pacheco forced a save in the 58th minute,
Enrique Reyes-Avila followed with another look a minute later, and the Coyotes converted their growing momentum into the Martinez goal at 67:10.
Down the stretch, Castelo denied multiple efforts as EAC surged, including stops on Bruno Santos and Davi Barros inside the final ten minutes before Prado's leveler.
The Coyotes turn the page to a critical road test: Saturday, Oct. 18, in Yuma, Arizona against the Arizona Western College Matadors. First touch is set at Arizona Western's home ground as CSN looks to turn this resilient performance into three points.
