Coolidge, AZ – October 18, 2025 — The College of Southern Nevada Volleyball team wrapped up its two-match road series against Central Arizona College on Saturday afternoon, showing grit and determination in a 3-0 setback to the Vaqueras (17-25, 12-25, 17-25) in Coolidge.
CSN fought hard throughout the match, highlighted by strong play at the net from freshman
Caidden Boggs, who led the Coyotes with 8 kills, 2 service aces, and 11.5 total points.
Kimora Combes added 5 kills and 2 solo blocks, while
Madison Ortiz chipped in 2 kills and led the defense with 11 digs. Sophomore
Tia Alofipo anchored the back row with 16 digs as CSN continued to compete with energy and hustle.
The Lady Coyotes kept the opening and closing sets close, making key runs behind aggressive serving and improved defensive positioning. Despite the final score, Head Coach and staff credited the team's persistence and communication in closing out their Arizona trip with competitive sets against a strong Central Arizona squad.
The Coyotes will now return home for their final homestand of the season, hosting Arizona Western College for a two-match set at the CSN Sports Center. The first match will be Friday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m., featuring a special Sophomore Night ceremony honoring the program's second-year student-athletes prior to first serve. The teams will meet again on Saturday, October 25 at 1:00 p.m.
