Chandler, AZ — November 14, 2025
The College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team continued its strong early-season form on Friday night, knocking down 13 three-pointers and executing with efficiency on the offensive end to earn an impressive 89–79 road victory over Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
With the win, the Coyotes move to 5–1 heading into the final game of their Arizona trip.
Guards
Ryan Raad and
Ivoryon Cuffee powered CSN with matching 21-point performances, each delivering momentum-swinging baskets throughout the night. Raad was locked in from deep, hitting 4-of-7 from three, while also grabbing eight rebounds and going a perfect 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.
Cuffee stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, helping push the pace and break down the Chandler-Gilbert defense off the dribble.
CSN's perimeter shooting was the difference early. The Coyotes hit seven first-half threes and shot an efficient 50% from the field for the game. Sophomore guard
Drake Watanabe was particularly effective, knocking down five threes on his way to a 15-point performance.
Guard Demarion Yap continued his consistent start to the season with 10 points and three made threes, while forward
Gerald Patterson added 10 points and 9 rebounds, nearly posting a double-double.
Chandler-Gilbert kept the game competitive behind 20 points from Theophilus Mansell and 18 from Jayven Price, but the Coyotes' depth and shot-making held firm. CSN entered halftime with a 47–45 lead before tightening up defensively in the second half, holding the Coyotes from Chandler-Gilbert to just 34 points after the break.
Forward
Qualib Ghallab delivered a big lift off the bench with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and a blocked shot, helping seal the win during a key second-half stretch.
CSN's offensive execution stood out across the stat lines:
- 50% shooting from the field (33-of-66)
- 52% from three-point range (13-of-25)
- 83% at the free-throw line (10-of-12)
- 19 assists as a team
The Coyotes' balance, spacing, and unselfish ball movement proved too much for CGCC over 40 minutes.
CSN wraps up its Arizona road trip on Saturday at 3:00 PM, taking on South Mountain Community College in Phoenix.
