Chandler, AZ — November 14, 2025- The College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team earned a hard-fought 61–57 road victory over Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Friday evening, using a dominant effort on the glass and a balanced scoring night to push their record to 4–2 on the season.
CSN controlled the game for three quarters, outscoring the Coyotes from Chandler-Gilbert in each of the first three periods behind relentless rebounding and timely shot-making. Southern Nevada carried a 47–32 lead into the fourth quarter before CGCC mounted a furious rally, trimming the margin to single digits late. CSN held strong in the final minutes, converting key defensive stops down the stretch to secure the road win.
Sophomore guard
Saroiya Ajomale delivered a standout performance, pouring in a game-high 22 points on 9-of-22 shooting, including a pair of three-pointers. She consistently created offense in the half court and provided the spark CSN needed whenever Chandler-Gilbert made a run.
Forward
Trista Mabry played one of her strongest all-around games of the year, finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Her physicality around the rim led to several crucial second-chance opportunities that helped CSN maintain control.
CSN's size and effort proved to be a difference maker as the Lady Coyotes outrebounded CGCC 49–43, highlighted by 15 rebounds from
Alanna Jackson, who was a force on the interior throughout the contest.
Guard
Satsuki Bradley added 8 points, knocking down two big threes, while
Alana Conner contributed 6 points and 3 rebounds in steady two-way play. Ten different Lady Coyotes scored in the win, reflecting the team's growing depth and balance.
Despite CSN's strong defensive presence through three periods—holding CGCC to just 32 points—Chandler-Gilbert caught fire in the fourth, scoring 25 behind sharp shooting from guards Addyson Horsley (20 points) and Makailyn Horsley (10 points). Southern Nevada weathered the push, closing out the final possessions with poise to seal the four-point victory.
