PRICE, Utah — The College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team closed out its weekend in commanding fashion Saturday afternoon, defeating Colorado Northwestern Community College 101–82 in the final game of the USU Eastern Invitational.
CSN set the tone early with one of its most efficient offensive halves of the season, shooting 51 percent before the break to take a 48–39 lead. Sophomore guard
Ryan Raad anchored the effort with 13 first-half points and finished with a game-high 28 points, knocking down four three-pointers and adding five rebounds.
Demarion Yap delivered one of the strongest performances of his CSN career, recording 19 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, and two steals while shooting 8-for-15 from the floor. Yap was especially effective on the offensive glass, helping the Coyotes extend possessions and maintain control throughout the afternoon.

Gerald Patterson added 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, providing consistent interior scoring and facilitating ball movement. Sophomore wing
Drake Watanabe gave the Coyotes a major lift off the bench, scoring 18 points while handing out a team-high eight assists.
CSN's balance proved decisive as eight different players scored, including
Myron Hubbard with 10 points and
Corbin Putnam with 8. The Coyotes shot 50.6 percent from the field and an impressive 13-for-30 from beyond the arc.
Defensively, CSN held the Spartans to 36 percent shooting and forced 12 turnovers, turning several misses into transition opportunities during a second-half surge that pushed the lead to as many as 20.
Colorado Northwestern was led by Jordan Jones with 18 points and Carter Killian with 16.
The win caps a strong showing for the Coyotes in Price, who finish the USU Eastern Invitational on a high note as they continue their non-conference schedule.
