September 12, 2025 | North Las Vegas, NV – The College of Southern Nevada Lady Coyotes Volleyball team returned home Friday evening for their second ACCAC matchup of the season, hosting the Central Arizona College Vaqueras inside the Coyote Event Center.
Despite an energetic crowd, CSN was unable to overcome a strong Central Arizona attack, falling in straight sets (15–25, 22–25, 14–25).
Match Highlights
The Coyotes showed fight in the second set, trading leads and pushing the Vaqueras late before dropping a close 22–25 decision. Freshman outside hitter D'Maryline Milovale paced CSN offensively with a team-high 7 kills on an efficient .429 hitting percentage. Sophomore setter Libbie Ferreiro contributed across the board, handing out 12 assists, serving up 7 aces, and collecting 3 digs.
Defensively, libero Tia Alofipo anchored the back row with 14 digs, while Dani Robinson added 13 to keep rallies alive.
By the Numbers
Central Arizona was led by outside hitter Olivia Bartrina, who tallied 18 kills on a .586 hitting percentage to spark the Vaqueras' offense.
Looking Ahead
With the loss, CSN moves to 3–6 overall, 0–2 ACCAC on the season. The Lady Coyotes will regroup quickly as they prepare for another home contest on Friday September 19, when they host the Yavapai College Roughriders in a key conference matchup.
