PRESCOTT, Ariz. — The College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team delivered a strong all-around performance Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 74–40 ACCAC victory over Yavapai College on January 31 in Prescott.
CSN controlled the action from the opening tip, building a 19–7 lead after one quarter and extending it to 39–16 by halftime. The Lady Coyotes continued to dictate the pace in the second half, outscoring the Roughriders in every period to secure the decisive road win.
Saroiya Ajomale led all scorers with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting and added six rebounds to anchor the CSN offense. With her performance, Ajomale now sits 29 points shy of 1,000 career points at CSN.
Supporting CSN's balanced attack, Mya Harper contributed 13 points off the bench, including three made three-pointers, while Trista Mabry added 12 points in an efficient outing.
On the glass, Alanna Jackson paced the Lady Coyotes with 14 total rebounds, helping CSN control the paint and limit second-chance opportunities throughout the contest.
Defensively, CSN held Yavapai to just 25.0 percent shooting from the field and forced 14 turnovers, turning consistent defensive pressure into transition scoring opportunities.
