NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team dropped a 77–43 decision to Arizona Western College on Wednesday evening in ACCAC action at the Coyote Event Center.
Arizona Western created separation in the second quarter and carried a 37–23 advantage into halftime before pulling away in the second half. The Matadors outscored CSN in each of the final three periods to secure the road victory.
Saroiya Ajomale led the Lady Coyotes with 20 points, finishing a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. Ajomale entered the game 29 points shy of 1,000 career points at CSN and now sits nine points away from reaching the milestone. She also added a block and a steal in the contest.
Satsuki Bradley contributed eight points, while Mya Harper added seven points off the bench. CSN was limited to 21.4 percent shooting from the field and committed 26 turnovers, which Arizona Western converted into 26 points.
Arizona Western was led by Chen Pan, who scored 20 points, while Mable Doumbia posted a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.
