The Snow College Badgers wasted little time making their presence felt here in Southern Nevada.

The Badgers batted around in the top of the first inning and by the time the dust settled they had staked starting pitcher Kimbri Herring to a 5-0 lead. Those runs were more than enough for Herring who controlled the CSN bats all afternoon, striking out ten Coyotes on her way to a complete game no-hitter. Unfortunately for CSN centerfielder and offensive catalyst Maggie Manwarren was unavailable for the game today with a heel injury, and her presence at the top of the lineup was sorely missed.
