Shonda Badayos struggled early, allowing four runs in just 1.2 innings of work.
The early deficit was too much for CSN's offense to overcome. CSN was able to cut the deficit to a single run in the bottom of the fifth inning, but it was as close as they would get. CNCC would plate a huge insurance run in the top of the sixth inning and eventually win the game 6-4.
Jinger Meuir led the charge offensively for the Coyotes with three RBI's and sophomore
Maggie Manwarren chipped in with a pair of runs and hits.
CSN will play a doubleheader tomorrow versus these same Spartans beginning tomorrow at noon.
