Future San Diego State Aztec Gabe Gonzalez picked up right where Aj Jones left off, silencing the Golden Eagle bats over four stellar innings of work.

Gonzalez fanned six of the sixteen batters he faced, allowing just two hits and helping to keep USU-Eastern off of the scoreboard for the second consecutive game.

The Coyotes offense erupted for eight runs in the first three innings of play, with Dillon Johnson, Blake Wiggins, Jordan Hand and Jay Martz each chipping in with a pair of RBI's.

Timmy Burtzloff and Trevor Mullaney pitched two scoreless innings of relief to increase the Coyotes scoreless innings streak to 13.

CSN defeated USU-Eastern 10-0 in game 2 of Military appreciation weekend here at Morse Stadium.
