After winning the first three games and securing the series victory in the "battle for Nevada" the Coyotes came out a bit flat in the weekend finale.

Lefty starter Sage Diehm surrendered two runs in the top of the second inning and his offense could never recover.

Western Nevada added single runs in the third, fourth and seventh inning to extend its lead and keep the pressure on the Coyotes.

CSN's offense was stuck in neutral all game, managing just three hits and getting shutout for the first time during the 2016 season.

Jarrett Perns, Drew Newson and Jarrell Latham had one hit apiece for the Coyotes.
